Renault-Nissan promueve el coche eléctrico en dos ciudades de Italia

 La alianza automovilística Renault-Nissan ha firmado un principio de acuerdo con la empresa energética italiana A2A para promover la venta y el marketing de vehículos eléctricos, inicialmente, en dos ciudades de Italia, informó Renault-Nissan en un comunicado.

Renault y Nissan señalaron que este proyecto forma parte de su estrategia de lanzar al mercado una gama completa de automóviles eléctricos y señaló que A2A ayudará a promocionar este tipo de vehículos no contaminantes.

La fase piloto del proyecto tendrá lugar en las ciudades italianas de Milán y Brescia en primera instancia en 2010. Así, la primera etapa contempla la construcción de una infraestructura de recarga para estos coches, para lo que A2A negociará con diferentes proveedores y con los gobiernos locales.

Además, esta fase inicial servirá para definir y probar los servicios de tarificación de la recarga y para educar y dar a conocer a los ciudadanos las ventajas de este tipo de coches que no contaminan.

De esta forma, Renault-Nissan introducirá en 2010 una pequeña flota de vehículos para sus pruebas en las dos ciudades italianas. La compañía aseguró que hasta el momento ha firmado 30 acuerdos de colaboración en todo el mundo para promover la movilidad sostenible y para la comercialización en masa de coches eléctricos en 2012.

El director general de Renault Italia, Jacques Bousquet, subrayó que la colaboración con A2A permitirá el lanzamiento en el futuro inmediato de coches eléctricos y concretará la implementación de la movilidad sostenible en el país.

Por su parte, el presidente del consejo de administración de A2A, Giuliano Zuccoli, explicó que el desarrollo sostenible es parte de la filosofía de su empresa. "Los coches eléctricos serán una de las soluciones más innovadoras para el periodo de después de la crisis", añadió.

THE RENAULT-NISSAN ALLIANCE AND A2A ARE COLLABORATING ON THE MASS MARKETING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES: TRIALS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN LOMBARDY IN 2010

A memorandum of understanding to develop “zero emission” mobility has been signed by the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Italy’s A2A, an energy company that is the main electricity supplier in Lombardy. For the Renault- Nissan Alliance, this project is part of a strategy to market a full range of electric vehicles. For A2A, it is part of efforts to promote sustainable development.

Through this cooperation, Renault-Nissan Alliance and A2A aim to create conditions that will promote the marketing and sale of electric vehicles. The project, for which the pilot phase (2010) will concern the cities of Milan and Brescia in the first instance, makes provision for a partnership between the Renault-Nissan Alliance and A2A to:

– build recharging infrastructure. To this end, A2A is discussing agreements with technology partners to provide recharging points or terminals in public places, company car parks, homes, etc.;

– define and trial innovative electronic payment services in order to provide easy access to the recharging service;

– train and educate consumers on the use of electric vehicles and their benefits in terms of environmental protection, low fuel consumption and operating costs for the customer;

– work with the authorities on implementing incentive measures that will encourage consumers to buy and use electric vehicles.

The first field trials will take place in 2010 with a fleet of electric vehicles that will gradually be made available. Electric vehicles, zero emissions in operation and silent, represent a breakthrough environmental solution affordable to the greatest number.

Marking its tenth anniversary this year, the Renault-Nissan Alliance is leading a collaborative approach with both business and governments and has signed nearly 30 agreements worldwide with partners to launch its first electric vehicle starting in 2010 and to mass market a full range of electrical vehicles in 2012.
